After the president’s criticism, the governor moved into a container house.

The “Sho‘rariq” neighborhood of Norin district in Namangan region is being transformed into the “Yangi Namangan” neighborhood. On September 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the neighborhood’s infrastructure and gave instructions to improve conditions.

For this purpose, the district governor, Shavkat Abdurazzoqov, moved into a container house installed in the neighborhood in order to speed up reforms and solve problems on the spot.

A master plan is being developed to radically change the appearance of the neighborhood, establish an industrial zone, and develop infrastructure. To coordinate all activities, a regional headquarters has also been set up here.
