Admission of Technical College Graduates Directly to 2nd Year of Universities Begins

Starting July 5, graduates of technical colleges in Uzbekistan can be admitted directly to the 2nd year of bachelor’s programs at universities through an interview process. Applications are accepted online until July 25 (inclusive) via the my.edu.uz platform. Submission does not require the original diploma — applicants only enter personal identification data, while the system automatically fills in the rest.

Eligibility applies to graduates who completed their studies mainly with grades of “4” and “5,” with at least 50% (85% for medical fields) being “5.” Applicants whose average interview score is 67 or higher are considered successful and admitted to the 2nd year on a tuition‑contract basis.

This procedure does not apply to higher military and militarized institutions, Tashkent State University of Law, as well as foreign and non‑state universities and their branches operating in Uzbekistan.
