Acceptance of applications for the third open dialogue of the president and entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan has begun

Acceptance of applications and appeals for the open dialogue of the President of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs, which will be held on August 20, has begun. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade. It is noted that thousands of businessmen are expected to participate in the event online and in person. Dialogue will help identify systemic problems, find ways to solve them, and further stimulate the development of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan. As part of preparation for the open dialogue, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business Ombudsman, organized the activities of call centers and analytical staff for entrepreneurs. Responsible ministries and agencies were involved in this process, and regional headquarters were established in the regions. Applications can be sent to 1094 and 1100 numbers or in writing through the business.gov.uz portal 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All applications received will be considered. According to the message of the Ministry, despite the fact that the tradition of communication in this format has been going on for two years, more than 27 thousand appeals and proposals for improving the business environment have been received as part of preparations for the events from 2021. Open and constructive proposals made it possible to formulate a new reform program. The third open dialogue will be held this year. Day of entrepreneurs Shavkat Mirziyoyev designated August 20 as the Day of Entrepreneurs from 2021 and suggested that it be widely celebrated every year. About ten thousand businessmen participated in the first open dialogue of the president with businessmen that year. In 2022, the "Active Entrepreneur" badge was established by the president's decision, and 71 entrepreneurs were awarded this badge that year.
