Academy of Nurses will be established in Tashkent

It is a state higher education institution. The specialist of "Higher nursing work" is given the right to continue his education at the master's level, to work as an independent researcher, to have a scientific title and a position.
According to the draft of the government's decision, the Academy of Nursing, which is organized on the basis of the Chilanzor Abu Ali Ibn Sina Technical School of Public Health, is a state higher education institution.

According to the project, starting from the 2023-2024 academic year, the following will be introduced in order to improve the system of training highly qualified personnel for the medical field and fundamentally transform the education system of nurses:

- "General practice nurse", "Patronage nurse", "Medical social work", "Medical preventive work" staff are trained for two-year primary medical institutions;

- "Specialized nurses" are trained for a three-year period of study. They are trained in the fields of "Paramedic work", "Nursing work", "Functional and laboratory diagnostic work", "Dentistry work", "Pharmacy" according to their specialties.

- "Higher nursing" specialists are trained in medical institutions of higher education with a duration of study of 4 years. According to WHO recommendations, nurses who have studied for four years are given the title of "Bachelor of Nursing" or "Science Bachelor of Nursing".

- The specialist of "Higher Nursing" is given the right to continue his education at the master's level, then to work as an independent researcher, to have a scientific title and a position.
