About 70 betting websites blocked in Uzbekistan.

The Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee has announced that around 70 websites promoting gambling and betting activities have been blocked in Uzbekistan.

According to the committee, a total of 86 websites were monitored during 2025, with nearly 70 of them being blocked. This measure is based on Article 46 of the Law “On Advertising,” which prohibits the online advertising of gambling activities.

In addition, in July–August 2025, six vloggers were taken to court for promoting the Melbet betting brand.
