About 3 tons of bakery products are thrown away in Tashkent every day. "Makhsustrans" reported that the amount of wasted food products is increasing year by year.
About 3 tons of bakery products are thrown into the garbage every day in Tashkent. This was reported by Ismail Sadullayev, chief inspector of the "Makhsustrans" production department.

According to him, bread and food products are currently the most wasted products in the capital. The cases of these products being thrown away are increasing year by year.

"If 2,300 tons of waste are collected in the city of Tashkent in one day, about 3 tons of it is bread," he said.

In April 2022, the Ministry of Justice reported that 2 tons of bakery products were thrown into the garbage every day in the capital.
