About 2,000 military personnel were involved in the elimination of explosion losses - Ministry of Defense

A strong explosion occurred in the warehouse belonging to Inter Logistics LLC, located in the "Kurovchiv" district of Sergeli district of Tashkent city. According to the correspondent of "Daryo" from the scene of the incident, the employees of the Yakkasaroy District Medical Association are providing assistance to the injured residents.

According to Otabek Yuldashev, the press secretary of the Minister of Defense, the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense has been established in the department of defense affairs in Sergeli.

"We brought the Cultural Center to raise the mood of the population. In addition, tents are being spread, and lunches and dinners are being prepared for residents. A mobile hospital is involved in the area - it provides assistance to citizens. Also, military psychologists started providing psychological support to the population," he said.

According to Yuldashev, about 2,000 military personnel of the Tashkent Military District, the Armed Forces Academy and the Command of the Forces for the Protection of Classified Objects have been deployed to the area, and they are engaged in cleaning up the damaged areas.
