Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abduqodir Husanov has become one of the most valuable footballers in Asia.

According to Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old player’s current market value is €35 million, placing him at the very top among Asian footballers.

Following the latest market update, Bayern Munich’s defender Kim Min Jae dropped to €32 million, while Brighton’s winger Kaoru Mitoma also stands at €35 million, sharing the same ranking as Husanov.

Thus, Husanov and Mitoma are now recognized as the two most valuable players in Asian football.

In January 2025, Husanov transferred from French club Lens to Manchester City for €40 million and signed a four-year contract with the English champions.

His rise marks a historic milestone for Uzbek football, proving that players from Uzbekistan can shine at the highest levels of world football.
