As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Czech Republic, a meeting was held with the President of this country Pyotr Pavel.
It is noted that at the reception, the President of the Czech Republic Pyotr Pavel praised the reforms and open foreign policies of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and asked him to convey his sincere greetings to the leader of our country.
In turn, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov conveyed the greetings and good wishes of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Czech President.
As noted at the meeting, today Uzbekistan is conducting an open and pragmatic foreign policy. Ultimately, equal and mutually beneficial cooperation is developing with foreign countries, especially the European Union.
For example, cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic is expanding in all directions, and relations at the ministerial level are becoming more active.
Prospects for the development of cooperation between trade and economic, energy, transport, tourism, agriculture, cultural-humanitarian, tourism, higher education and research institutions were discussed at the meeting.

In general, within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the government of Uzbekistan to the Czech Republic, it is aimed at expanding cooperation relations with the representatives of "Skoda", "Omnipol", "Crystal Bohemia", "Primako" and other leading firms and companies of this country in relevant directions. bilateral meeting and negotiations were held. A number of enterprises were visited in order to familiarize themselves with high-tech production processes.
As a result of the visit to the Czech Republic, investment agreements and trade agreements with a total value of more than 800 million euros were signed.
