Opinions were exchanged on further expansion and deepening of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov received Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, who visited Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 10th meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission on bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

Opinions were exchanged on further expansion and deepening of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. Sadir Japarov noted that there have been unprecedented positive changes in almost all directions of bilateral cooperation in Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan relations.

The President drew attention to the consistent growth of trade between the two countries in recent years, expressed confidence that the discussed issues and agreements reached will be fully implemented at the level of the governments of the two countries.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov touched on the historical decisions made during the state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan. In particular, this includes completing the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan state border.

At the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the implementation of joint plans and projects aimed at strengthening the welfare of the two peoples and brotherly ties.
