Abdukodir Husanov wins his first trophy in England
Yesterday, March 22, the English League Cup final took place at Wembley Stadium in London, where Manchester City defeated Arsenal 2–0.
The decisive goals were scored in the second half. Manchester City player Nico O’Reilly netted a brace in the 60th and 64th minutes. Uzbek defender Abdukodir Husanov played the full match and became the first Uzbek footballer to win the English League Cup. This is his first trophy with Manchester City.
With this victory, Manchester City has won the English League Cup for the 9th time in its history.
