A young man who killed his sister and kept her body for 7 days in Chinaz was sentenced to 8 years in prison

A 26-year-old man in the Chinaz district of Tashkent region stabbed his 30-year-old sister to death after a fight. The incident occurred on February 14, 2024. The deceased woman was divorced with 2 children and lived in her childhood home with her mother and brother. She also had constant quarrels at home. According to the brother, the quarrel arose over a loan and he stabbed his sister to death. Then he wrapped the body in a carpet and kept it on the balcony of his house for 7 days. The young man told his friends about this, they thought it was a joke and came to his house and, seeing the truth of the incident, reported it to law enforcement agencies.

The court case was concluded, and the young man was sentenced to 8 years in prison, taking into account the mother's lack of a lawsuit and the fact that the deceased had been constantly quarreling.
