A work of art that represents a fleeting life
In 2009, art critic Nele Azevedo created the composition "Minimum Momentum". In it, he made 1,000 "melting people" sculptures out of ice and placed them on a staircase in Berlin. Naturally, the figurines melted soon after. The main purpose of the composition was to warn people about the impending climate crisis and to show that human life is transient.
