A woman who practiced fortune-telling in Tajikistan was imprisoned

 

Khadich Khamidova, 62, a resident of the Shohratus district of the Khatlon region of Tajikistan, was sentenced to 6 months in a general-regime colony for re-engaging in witchcraft and fortune-telling. Although she had previously been warned and subjected to administrative punishment, she continued her activities.

It should be noted that in Tajikistan, witches and fortune-tellers are subject to criminal liability.
