The video, which shows the vice rector of the National University of Uzbekistan rude to the mother of a student girl, is spreading and causing a lot of discussion. The press service of the university issued a statement on the case.

According to him, this condition occurred in the first decade of September 2023. The petitioner had entered the pro-vice-chancellor's reception. The daughter stated that the Faculty of geology entered the 1st course evening Department, requiring the allocation of a place from student accommodation and employment. The pro-rector informed the petitioner that the lack of a hostel for students studying in the form of evening education, the seats covered students studying in the form of full-time education. The petitioner did not want to understand and demanded that you provide employment without him. The vice-rector gave the necessary recommendations that if we find an opportunity, we will talk about work from schools. The woman, on the other hand, demanded that her child be given a job solution from the University.

The woman, whose demands were not fully satisfied, had dishonored the university leadership and vice-rector during ketar. Words that do not stand on the shovel touched the apathy of the prorector, and he also used rude words towards the woman. The same situation was recorded by the petitioner and the part meaning “the vice-chancellor insulted the petitioner woman” was distributed. This situation was witnessed by the vice-rector's secretary, the chairman of the University women's Committee and the citizens at the reception.

In this case, which occurred with the vice-rector of the University, an investigation is being carried out by the relevant body on the issue of a fair decision. Until the situation was fully studied and a legal assessment of the situation was made, the vice-rector, now featured in the video, was temporarily removed from his duties and his duties were assigned to the other responsible vice-rector of the University. 

"After appropriate examinations, a final decision is made to take organizational, disciplinary or administrative action on the vice-rector. 

The National University of Uzbekistan informs that it is concerned about the situation that has arisen and that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent such cases later,” the message said.
