A unified state exam will be introduced for schools

In Uzbekistan, from the 2024/2025 academic year, the only state exams will be held for students of the 9th and 11th grades. Through this, students are directed to vocational or higher education depending on their ability.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this news on the eve of the day of teachers and coaches. Now graduates with the results of the final exam at school can enter the technical school if they wish, and the high school if they wish.
International certificates are also recognized in final examinations. This provides for students to switch to a unified system instead of three separate exams.
