A proposal has been made to establish a comprehensive center in Uzbekistan where citizens heading to Russia for work can complete all necessary procedures in one location. The Migration Agency announced this initiative.
The matter was discussed during a meeting between Muhsinkhuja Abdurahmonov, Director of the Migration Agency, and Oleg Yerkhov, Russia’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
Plans for the center include enabling citizens to undergo pre-departure testing and medical examinations, submit biometric data and fingerprints, and have their documents verified.
Additionally, the initiative aims to ensure that citizens wishing to work in Russia know in advance which enterprise and under what conditions they will be employed, can process necessary documents within Uzbekistan, and travel for work legally based on a specific employer's request.
Discussions also covered expanding opportunities to take the Russian language exams required for working in Russia without having to travel to Tashkent; the necessary infrastructure for this has already been prepared in four regions.
