On October 10, an attack was carried out on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia. According to Reuters, at least 12 people were killed and 309 injured. Some of the wounded are in serious condition. The casualties include citizens of Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, the USA, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan, and Egypt. This marks the third attack on the airport within a week. Previous attacks resulted in four deaths and damage to a Saudi commercial aircraft.
Saudi officials have blamed Yemen's Houthi rebels for the attacks. The Houthis, meanwhile, have declared the airport area a "military operations zone."
