A republican competition was held in the field of art of national “Maqom”

At the same time, on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Uzbek National Status Art Center and Jizzakh Regional Government, a "Republican competition in the field of national status art" was organized.

12 status ensembles operating throughout the Republic and more than 50 traditional musicians and singers, zhorovoz performers took part in this competition.

The winners of the competition will get the right to participate on behalf of Uzbekistan in the competition within the framework of the II International Status Art Conference, which will be held in the Zomin district of Jizzakh on June 27-30 of this year.
