During the week, the demand for electricity increased by 16.5 million kWh or by an average of 7.1% due to the abnormally hot weather observed in Uzbekistan. On July 25-26, the absolute historical record indicators for the energy system were updated.

On July 25 at 3:47 p.m., the consumption capacity of the system was 11,822 MW. At this time, the air temperature in Tashkent was +39.7 degrees. The indicator is an absolute record in history for the summer period, 343 MW more than the highest consumption recorded on July 28 (+40 degrees) last year.
