In the state of Virginia (USA), a raccoon entered a liquor store, broke several bottles, and tasted their contents. Afterwards, it ended up nearly drunk and fell asleep in the store’s restroom. Employees discovered the animal and contacted the local wildlife control service. The staff who picked it up said they could barely stop laughing on the way, as they had never encountered a drunk raccoon before.

After sleeping for several hours, the raccoon quickly recovered and was released back into the wild. The story spread widely on social media, where users jokingly commented: “Leave him alone! Maybe he had a really tough day.”
