The citizen wanted to sell 200 counterfeit bills of 200,000 soums for 18 million soums. In a quick event held by the Yashnabad district branch of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office in cooperation with the State Department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizen E.H. the citizen was caught with physical evidence when he sold 200 counterfeit bills of 200,000 soums to A.D. for 18 million soums, reports the Information Service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
A criminal case under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (making counterfeit money, excise stamps or securities, their transfer) has been initiated and investigation is underway.
