A passenger who tried to open the airplane door has died.

On a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to Lagos, a passenger attempted to open the aircraft door while in flight.
The man had previously been denied entry to Madagascar and was being sent back; consequently, the airline was transporting him on the return journey. During the flight, he first tried to enter the cockpit and then attempted to open the rear door of the aircraft. To ensure the safety of other passengers, crew members restrained his hands behind his back. About 20 minutes before landing, the passenger lost consciousness. After the plane landed, medical personnel confirmed his death.
An investigation into the incident has been launched. The cause of his death has not yet been determined.
