A part of the street in the center of Tashkent was closed for car traffic for 7 days

A part of Yakub Kolas street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent city was temporarily closed for traffic, the press service of the capital's hokimity informs.

It was reported that in accordance with the decision of the President of Uzbekistan dated March 11, 2023 "On measures to provide consumers with energy resources in the city of Tashkent", renovation and repair of power grid cables and transformers are being carried out in all regions. .

In the area of Yakub Kolas street of Mirabad district, works are being carried out on the installation of 110 kilowatt high-voltage underground power transmission cable networks. Therefore, from August 28 to September 4, the 20-meter long section of Yakub Kolas Street near the Central Multidisciplinary Polyclinic of the Mirabad District Medical Association (opposite the 110th General Education School) was closed for all types of motor vehicle traffic.
