A new system for supporting young talents will be introduced

Starting from September 1 of this year, a new system aimed at supporting young talents and their mentors will be introduced in Uzbekistan. This was announced at the meeting of the president with employees of the culture and art sector. According to it, the winners of the republican competition will be awarded 100 million soums, and the winners of prestigious international competitions will be awarded up to 300 million soums.

Also, the expenses of all participants will be fully covered. In order to encourage teachers and mentors, a system of paying up to 100 percent of their monthly salaries will be established. It is planned that these benefits will also be applied to private creative groups.

In particular, 100 talented young people will be provided with education at foreign culture and art institutions at the state expense every year. To identify and support young talents and develop production projects, the "Investment in Creativity" fund has been established, with 200 billion soums allocated to it annually.
