A new rector was appointed to the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan

Today, in accordance with the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gafurov Khagan Wavovich was appointed to the post of Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

On May 25, 2021, on the basis of a special assignment and relevant decision of the head of state, Muzaffar Murodovich Komilov, adviser to the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan on issues of religion and interethnic relations, simultaneously served as rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

Over the past period, large-scale work has been carried out at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan on the organization of the educational and educational process on the basis of international templates, improving educational efficiency.

Ghafurov Uyghur Wavvovich previously served as the rector of the Tashkent Islamic Institute, to this day as the deputy chairman of the Muslim authority of Uzbekistan.
