A new leader was appointed to the highways committee

Before being appointed to this position, he worked as the first deputy of the governor of Bukhara region in charge of finance, economy and poverty reduction from January 16, 2023. In 2021, Tursunov worked as the deputy chairman of the Highways Committee under the Ministry of Transport.

Jamshid Tursunov was born in 1979 in Bukhara district of Bukhara region. In 2000, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Finance, and in 2003, he graduated from the Academy of Banking and Finance of Uzbekistan.

Before coming to the Hokim, he worked as the deputy chairman of the Highways Committee in 2021-2023.

At the first meeting after the election on July 11, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited a number of leaders at the republic level, including Abdurahman Abduvaliyev, who has been working as the chairman of the Highways Committee since 2019, but has been responsible for the road sector since 2001. resigned from his position.
