A new feature is being added to Gmail

Google is working on a Shielded Email feature to protect email from spam. This feature creates unique email addresses for registering on websites without specifying your primary email, and all sent emails are automatically forwarded to your primary inbox. This method reduces many privacy risks. Google has yet to announce an official launch date.
