A new electric train service connecting the regions of the Fergana Valley has been launched.

  On April 27 of this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Margilan from Kokand on a new electric train manufactured at the Tashkent Passenger Car Building and Repair Plant.
The length of this railway loop connecting the cities of Kokand, Namangan, Andijan, and Margilan in the Fergana Valley is 324 km. The train consists of six carriages, is designed for 586 seats, and can reach speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. It is expected to serve 1,500 passengers daily. Notably, the carriages are equipped with climate control and air conditioning systems, and feature free Wi-Fi and USB ports for gadgets. The ticket price is 15,000 soums.
Additionally, to create additional sources of income for the local population, there are plans to build service points, hotels, and catering establishments around the train stations.
