It was reported that Zufar Kurbanov started working as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for information technologies.
Before the appointment, Z. Kurbanov served in a managerial position in the joint-stock company "Uzbektelecom".
The position of deputy minister for information technology in the Ministry of Internal Affairs was vacant until now. The following services are directly subordinate to him: Department of Information Technologies, Communication and Information Protection; Directorate General of Migration and Citizenship; Legal statistics and quick-account information center.
For information, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Polat Bobojonov, currently has 6 deputies and 3 advisers. They are:
