A new chairman was appointed to the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art

Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO Gayane Umerova was appointed to this position. By the relevant decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gayane Umerova was appointed as the chairman of the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art.
In accordance with the decision No. PQ-177 dated June 1, 2023, he is simultaneously the chairman of the National Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for UNESCO.
Before the appointment, Umerova worked as the executive director of the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art and the Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
