A messy situation has arisen at Moscow airports again

Several flights were delayed or canceled at the capital's airports. In Vnukovo, 10 flights were delayed, six were cancelled. In Domodedovo, 9 flights were delayed, 14 were canceled, in Sheremetyevo three flights were delayed, three flights were canceled. In recent days, there have been several reports of restrictions on flights at Moscow airports. This was caused by drone attacks. On August 31, due to flight restrictions at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports, 45 aircraft were diverted to alternative airfields. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that a drone was shot down in the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region at approximately 7:30 am. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or debris. A day ago, the work of Moscow airports was restricted twice. The first time around 1:00 Moscow time only in Vnukovo, the second time - around 3:00 Moscow time - in Domodedovo and Sheremetevo. As the Ministry of Defense reported later, at approximately 3:30 Moscow time, the Russian military shot down a drone in the Ruza district of the Moscow region.
