A memorandum of understanding was signed between China and Central Asian countries, the Ministry of Transport reported.
The first meeting of transport ministers in the "China-Central Asia" format was held within the framework of the global forum on the development of sustainable transport, which is being held in Beijing.
"In order to jointly implement the agreements reached at the first meeting of the Ministers of Transport "China - Central Asia" and to promote active cooperation between China and the countries of Central Asia in the field of transport within the framework of the initiative "One Place, One Road" a memorandum of understanding was signed," the report said.
At the meeting, issues related to the development of cooperation in the field of transport and communications between China and the countries of Central Asia, the establishment of short and convenient transport corridors, and the increase of transit traffic were discussed.
