A meeting on preventing the spread of drugs was held in Ashgabat

On July 5, a meeting of the Steering Committee of the seventh phase of the Central Asia Drug Prevention Program was held in Ashgabat. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Central Asian countries, the EU delegation to Central Asia, representatives of European institutions and EU programs. The participants of the event discussed activities related to the prevention of the spread of drugs, considering the achievements and successes in this direction.

On July 6, an additional meeting "Turkmenistan's experience in the fight against smoking and alcohol consumption" was held, dedicated to the protection and improvement of the lives of citizens, measures taken and programs implemented in this area, popularization (primarily among young people) of the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
