A man originally from Tajikistan killed one of the harassers at a bus stop in Russia

On January 19 in the Moscow region, a group of nationalist skinheads (a youth subculture often associated with radical or violent movements) made obscene gestures toward a girl at a bus stop. A 19-year-old man originally from Tajikistan and a Russian citizen, Imamali Turdiyev, saw what was happening, confronted them, and got off the bus.

The conflict continued outside, turned into a fight, and ended in a fatal outcome. During the scuffle, Imamali was first sprayed in the eyes with pepper gas and then shot at with a weapon. After that, he stabbed one of the attackers — an 18-year-old young man named Ilya — who died at the scene.

Imamali Turdiyev is currently in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
