A Lacetti caught fire after colliding with a truck in Jizzakh, leaving 5 people dead

On the night of November 21, in the Sharof Rashidov district of Jizzakh region, an Isuzu truck collided with a Lacetti car on the M-39 highway. As a result of the collision, everyone inside the Lacetti — the driver and four passengers — burned to death at the scene.

According to preliminary information, the Isuzu driver failed to comply with traffic signs, drove onto the roadway, and collided with the Lacetti.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
