A group of journalists awarded on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Independence

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 22, a group of mass media employees was awarded state honors to mark the 35th anniversary of Independence. Under the decree, the "Do‘stlik" (Friendship) Order was awarded to Rashid Talipovich Galiyev, a photojournalist for the editorial offices of the "Toshkent haqiqati" and "Tashkentskaya pravda" newspapers, and to Nilufar Talibjanovna Umirzakova, a senior editor at the "O‘zbekiston" radio channel (responsible for educational and artistic entertainment programs).

Additionally, the following were awarded:

Komilaxon Turayevna Tashmatova — Editor-in-Chief of the TV project production department at the "Bolajon" TV channel — the "Sog‘lom turmush" (Healthy Lifestyle) Medal;

Otabek Odiljon o‘g‘li Isroilov — Editor-in-Chief of the "Mash’al" socio-political newspaper (serving the O‘rta Chirchiq district and the city of Nurafshon) — the "Kelajak bunyodkori" (Creator of the Future) Medal;

Shaxloxon Qodirjonovna Abidova — Commentator for the news, socio-political, educational, and entertainment programs department at the "Namangan" radio channel (National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan) — the "Shuhrat" (Glory) Medal;

Dilshodbek Qobilovich Askarov — Editor at the "Vodiy1.uz" editorial office — the "Shuhrat" (Glory) Medal; Gafurov Umidjon Ilxomovich — Head of the “Thebase” private enterprise and founder of the “Troll.uz” social media project — “Shuhrat” Medal;

Ishanxodjayev Saidaziz Saidnabi o‘g‘li — Deputy Chairman of the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Presidential Administration — “Shuhrat” Medal;

Muxtarov Abduxamid Abduaxatovich — Director of the “Ziyo” Media Center under the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan — “Shuhrat” Medal;

Sagitov Mirxan Mirgaziyan — Head of the Marathon Organization Department at the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Presidential Administration — “Shuhrat” Medal;

Sur’atxo‘jayev Salohiddinxo‘ja Ulug‘bek o‘g‘li — Head of the Project Production and Implementation Department at the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Presidential Administration — “Shuhrat” Medal;

Turayev Sarvarbek Kenjaboyevich — Editor-in-Chief of the “Surkhandarya TV Channel” editorial office at the “Surkhandarya Regional TV and Radio Channel” state institution — awarded the “Shuhrat” Medal.
