A group illegally obtaining SAT certificates has been detained in Tashkent

The activities of a group involved in illegally obtaining SAT certificates for individuals have been halted in Tashkent. The State Security Service (SSS) reported this.
It was revealed that the group members had set up a "bunker" at a private school in the Yangihayot district. Most of them were students from branches of foreign universities in Tashkent.
An IT specialist secretly accessed the system to enable the test questions to be solved. Meanwhile, students solved the questions remotely on behalf of the actual SAT test-takers.
One of the group members demanded $1,500 from each of the five individuals seeking a certificate. Some of the payments were made via a cryptocurrency wallet.
A criminal case for fraud has been initiated regarding the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
