A girl in a coma in China regained consciousness after hearing that she had been accepted to a university.

Chinese 18-year-old Jiang Chengnan came to his senses from an 8-day coma after hearing the news of his admission to the University. He was hospitalized for heart inflammation (fulminant myocarditis) after taking the exam in early July.
He is now in stable condition, having been moved to the House of Commons. Jiang is preparing to begin his university studies in September.
