The documentary will be produced and presented by the Committee for Television and Radio with the assistance of the Committee for Environmental Protection and the National Academy of Sciences.

Recall that the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon put forward an initiative to declare 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers.

It should be said that out of 14 thousand glaciers located on the territory of the republic, a thousand have completely disappeared over the past few decades.

As a result of the effects of climate change, especially heat, the rate of their melting has accelerated.
