Four members of a family living in Pas Dargom district of Samarkand region were poisoned by botulism, and the youngest child of the family died. Four members of the family - a couple and two children - ate home-made canned food and their health deteriorated. After that, they were admitted to the hospital, and tests revealed botulism poisoning. The youngest child of the family died in the hospital. Doctors said that the child died of another disease. The boy's mother also informed that he did not eat canned food that day, he had a cold. The district SES officer claims that the child also died of poisoning and that the doctors of the infectious disease hospital were mistaken in diagnosing him.
