In Sirdarya, a driver with a fake license plate "20 FARRUX" was caught, and measures were taken against him. According to the regional Traffic Safety Department (YHXB), the individual had fabricated or altered the state license plate and was driving on public roads when he was apprehended. The driver admitted to the violation and apologized. An administrative report was drawn up, and the vehicle was placed in the impound lot. According to the law, such violations incur a fine of 10 times the basic calculation amount.

Starting from January 1, 2026, "unique" state license plates consisting of up to six characters, including letters and/or numbers, will be sold through black market electronic auctions.
