A draft law on establishing the status of military personnel has been published

The purpose of this law is to regulate the rights, duties, responsibilities and restrictions related to military service by military personnel of ministries and departments, other bodies and organizations in which military service is provided, as well as relations in the field of legal and social protection of military personnel and citizens discharged from military service, and their family members.

With the bill:

military personnel under the contract of ordinary, non-commissioned and officer personnel of ministries and departments, other bodies and organizations in which military service is provided, as well as their family members;
cadets (trainees) of higher military educational institutions;
military conscripts;
military personnel of the mobilization conscription reserve;
mandatory for military service in the reserve and reserve, undergoing military training;
the legal and social protection of family members of deceased servicemen is established, as well as the regulation of other key issues is provided.
The draft law ”on the status of military personnel and their social protection" consists of 4 chapters, 38 articles.

The first chapter sets out the general provisions, the second -the rights and freedoms of military personnel. The third chapter deals with the duties and responsibilities of military personnel, and the fourth-the final provisions.
