A cable car and miniature park to be built in Osh, like in Istanbul

A cable car to Suleiman-Too Mountain and a park consisting of miniatures of unique monuments of the Turkic world will be built in Osh.

According to the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev, he met with a delegation led by Secretary General of the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World Ilyas Demirchi.

According to him, during the meeting a wide range of issues related to the current agenda and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

“During the meeting, Secretary General Ilyas Demirchi separately informed about the results of his working visit to Kyrgyzstan in April 2023, in particular, about the joint projects agreed with the Osh City Hall for the construction of a cable car to Suleiman-Too. It was about erecting a flagpole on the top of the mountain in honor of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, and at its foot a park of miniatures of unique monuments of the Turkic world was solemnly opened, like in Istanbul,” Kazakbaev said.

Kazakbaev noted the importance of the activities of the Union, especially the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the fraternal Turkic states.

“Separately, I want to express gratitude for the active assistance in supporting initiatives aimed at promoting and disseminating the historical and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan and the entire Turkic world. In this context, I declare my readiness to support such initiatives of the Union and provide all possible support in their implementation," the plenipotentiary wrote.
