A businessman who polluted the air while raising pigs will face penalties.

In the Past Dargom district of Samarkand region, the LLC “Ismoil Zaxro,” which raised pigs and polluted the air by burning vehicle tires, will face legal action.

Following complaints from local residents and the mahalla, an inspection revealed that the businessman had been raising pigs on a 40-sotix enclosed area for two years and was burning tires at night to prepare feed. This activity caused inconvenience even to residents living near the city of Samarkand.

It was also found that the enterprise operated without environmental and sanitary permits and had more than 60 million soums in tax debt. The activity has been halted, and authorities stated that legal measures will be taken against those responsible.
