A Business Council will be formed with the cooperation of the chambers of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan-Qatar

As part of the state visit of the president of Uzbekistan to the state of Qatar, a memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and industry and an agreement to form the Uzbek-Qatari Business Council.
The agreement was signed on the conclusion of a meeting between the first vice-president of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Al-Kuwari, and the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vahobov.

The memorandum of Understanding provides instructions on how to share information related to economic and commercial legislation and how to obtain, interpret and analyze such information in order to establish strong ties between the business circles of the two states and promote mutually beneficial and effective cooperation in the trade and economic spheres of their further development.

The structure of the Business Council, on the other hand, helps to develop cooperation between the business circles of the two countries, create new platforms of interaction for them, as well as increase the volume of export of Uzbek products to Qatar and attract foreign investment.

During the meeting, Davron Vahobov emphasized the establishment of working groups to further support trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar. The opinion was in turn supported by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and industry.

Also, D.Vahobov touched on the opportunities created in the field of tourism in Uzbekistan and the benefits given to entrepreneurs.
