9 spoons removed from man's stomach in Baku

 

On May 19, a 55-year-old man was hospitalized in Baku in serious condition. It turned out that he had swallowed 9 metal spoons. The incident was discovered around 01:00 at night and the patient needed immediate medical attention. With timely assistance and surgical intervention, all the spoons were safely removed from the patient's stomach. It was not reported why the man did this.
The patient is currently being treated in the intensive care unit and is in stable condition.
