7 Arrested Over Mass Poisoning in Tashkent Region

Earlier it was reported that nearly 2,000 kindergarten children in Tashkent region were poisoned. Seven people have now been arrested in connection with the incident — two of them are product manufacturers, while the rest are representatives of outsourcing companies. Epidemiological investigations are ongoing, with initial findings suggesting low-quality dairy products as the cause. Deputy Narimon Umarov has sent a parliamentary inquiry to the Prosecutor General regarding the case.
