694 of the poisoned children in Tashkent region are still in hospitals

The first deputy chairman of the committee on sanitary and epidemiological tranquility and public health Nurmat Otabekov said that as of September 27, 694 children are being treated in regional hospitals. 1,922 children were medically tested and 959 were found to be healthy, with a further 269 recovered in the last two days. The 13 children currently in the hospital are in moderate critical condition.
More than 100 specialists from Tashkent were involved in the treatment. Children are diagnosed with” acute gastroenteritis", which usually goes without complications. Treatment is carried out in seven hospitals in the province. Otabekov added that those responsible for the incident would be liable to the law.
