68 warplanes of the Chinese army approached the island of Taiwan

Taiwan's Defense Ministry said in its daily report that it had detected 68 Chinese military warplanes and 10 warships in the Taiwan Strait in the past 24 hours. "Kommersant" reported about it.

According to the Ministry of Defense, 40 of these aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait along the "middle line" and entered Taiwan's air defense detection zone. In response, Taiwan sent air and sea patrols to monitor the situation, as well as deploying missile systems.

On September 13, Taiwan's Ministry of Defense recorded 27 aircraft and 13 ships approaching the island.
On August 19, the Chinese Air Force and Navy conducted training exercises and patrols near Taiwan. China's military said the maneuvers should serve as a "serious warning to separatist forces" who support Taiwan's independence and "conspire and provoke foreign powers."
